My submission for NATG VII: Day 21!
Today's theme was "Draw a pony doing science / Draw a pony pushing boundaries." The first thing I really thought of was that animation by Argodaemon from the Anthology (link), so I decided to draw that xD
Quite interesting trying to use a 3D pose as reference for a 2D drawing. It's not perfect, but I feel I did alright. I feel like the head may be a bit big and the body is a little odd looking due to the perspective. But not bad.
Took be back a bit, drawing the microscope, actually xD I was reminded of Chemistry is real early highschool, and I'm just like "Oh yeah, I remember all these parts and working them, etc., in highschool!" I just noticed in hindsight in extrapolating the rest of the microscope, I actually forgot those dials on the body of the microscope for extending and contracting the lens Also in hindsight, how exactly and where exactly is the microscope part going to connect with the body? I really should've done a better job of this, considering I used to have my own microscope as a child. Or, y'know, I could've searched for a reference. Whoopsy; ah well, I suppose xD Something something, pony magic
